Key Rules of PlunderChess® Play:

1. "Plundering" happens when a capturing piece gains extra moving capabilities from the captured piece, strengthening itself. This enhancement is symbolized by colored "vests" overlaid on the capturing piece, indicating the acquired powers.
2. The additional powers obtained via plundered vests can be used once in a future move only, adding a strategic layer to gameplay.
3. Plundering is at the player's discretion and can be declined. Opting not to plunder may be wise if anticipating a counter-capture by the opponent.
4. A colored vest banner signifies that the capturing piece possesses additional moving capabilities for one subsequent move, serving as a tactical indicator for both players.
